In addition to the extended comment period, the BLM has announced an additional public scoping meeting on the Verde Transmission Project (Project), following three previous meetings held in October and November:

The BLM is responding to a ROW application by Verde Transmission, LLC to construct a 33-mile transmission line that would connect the existing Public Service Company of New Mexico (PNM) Ojo Substation, in southern Rio Arriba County, to the existing Norton Substation, in Santa Fe County.  For additional information on the Project, please visit:  https://www.blm.gov/programs/planning-and-nepa/plans-in-development/new-mexico/verde-transmission-project
