BLM Christmas tree permits available in northern New Mexico

FARMINGTON, N.M. - The Bureau of Land Management Farmington District is selling Christmas tree cutting permits at the Farmington Field Office, Taos Field Offices, and the New Mexico State Office in Santa Fe.

The permit allows cutting one piñon pine or juniper tree on designated BLM lands.  Permits are for individual use only.  Maps and directions are available with permit purchase.  The cost per permit is $5.  The BLM will accept credit cards, cash, and checks made payable to the BLM.
