Subject: Multiple Indicator Monitoring Data Standard
This Information Bulletin announces the availability of Multiple Indicator Monitoring (MIM) Spatial Data Standard Version 1.
The Multiple Indicator Monitoring (MIM) dataset represents spatial location and information for riparian area management Multiple Indicator Monitoring of stream channels and streamside vegetation. This dataset is for recording data collected using BLM Technical Reference 173723.
The MIM protocol is designed to provide a consistent approach for monitoring streambanks, stream channels, and streamside riparian vegetation. The protocols also help establish and prioritize management, monitoring, and restoration activities.
