Subject: Draft Programmatic Agreement Among the Federal Highway Administration, the Nevada Department of Transportation and Others for Implementation of Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) have requested review and comment by Bureau of Land Management Nevada (BLM) on a draft Programmatic Agreement for the Federal-aid Highway Program in compliance with the National Historic Preservation Act. The agencies have provided the draft Agreement for our review and comment; appendices C and D are separate from the main body of the Agreement.

Please provide written comments to Tom Burke (t1burke@blm.gov) no later than November 9, 2011, referencing page numbers and appropriate sections. The Nevada State Office will compile comments in response to the agencies’ request.
