Subject: Fuels Management Projects and Amendment to State Protocol Agreement

The attached is a copy of an amendment to the State Protocol Agreement for implementation of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA). The amendment creates Subsection M to Appendix F (Categorical No Adverse Effect Situations) and addresses Mechanical, Chemical and Manual Vegetation Fuels Management.

Many fire and cultural resources personnel statewide were involved in discussions and work that made this amendment possible. Thank you for your efforts.
