The forms may be found on the National Heritage Program sharepoint, as indicated in the WO IM No. 2014-103, Attachment 1, and are also on the Wyoming Cultural Program sharepoint.This year, each State is being asked to identify between 5 and 10 State highlights focused on cultural, paleontological and tribal consultation efforts. We are required to include at least one example for both museum collections and paleontology. Short bulleted items to highlight our accomplishments tied to program activities under AE, AJ, BC, FD, HF, KO, and MY are expected. These highlights might include items noted in the WO IM under section I.B. FOs are not required to submit a highlight under each topic.Please do not forget to include information regarding the use of volunteers and include the number of volunteer hours provided. Any photographs provided for the featured projects must be uploaded to the Wyoming Cultural Program sharepoint, provided by email or on a disk. Each office must fully complete the annual report questionnaire (Attachment 2). Data from CRMTracker should not be used to complete this questionnaire. Section VI of Attachment 2 should be completed in cooperation with the FO Ranger. Rangers should also complete a LOOT form (provided as Attachment. 5) for each archaeological incident identified. The Paleontology sections X and XI of Attachment 2 will be completed by the SO.Please review Attachment 3, the Project and Partner Activities. This is where you will identify the funding you received for projects and partnerships during the reporting period. If your project or partnership is not listed, please insert it and include the appropriate funding information.Attachment 4 is the Historic Structures List. Please identify any changes to this list. Notes may be provided on the second tab of the spreadsheet.FOs are not responsible for either the Museum Collections report or the NAGPRA Repatriations report; however, please identify as part of your narrative whether you have curated a collection or conducted a repatriation during the reporting period. Also note whether such activities are planned for the remainder of the calendar year. If artifacts have been curated, please provide a brief description and count. The SO will use this information to complete the Museum Collections report.Reporting: Please ensure internal consistency with data provided in previous Fiscal_Years. The annual report will summarize accomplishments achieved between August 1, 2013, to July 31, 2014.Timeframe: FOs should complete the annual report and submit narratives by August 15, 2014. If your FO will be unable to meet the deadline or if you choose not to report, a response to the State Director, indicating reasons for the non-submittal, is required.Budget Impact: The budget impact is minimal.Background: Data provided are used in various reports such as the Public Land Statistics, the “Secretary of the Interior’s Report to Congress on Federal Archaeological Activities,” the Chief Financial Officers’ Stewardship Assets and Heritage Assets reports, as well as our annual educational, museum collections and volunteer reports.
