We are required to compile this information to comply with numerous laws and executive orders, including the Archaeological Resources Protection Act of 1979, the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, the Government Performance and Accountability Act, and the Federal Land Policy and Management Act. This year, we are asked to identify our highlights based on the following topics related to the 1050 program: National Programmatic Agreement implementation, Native American coordination and consultation, museum collections management, compliance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA), resource protection projects, heritage tourism interpretive developments, planning accomplishments, key prosecutions and heritage education publications and outreach products. Each office must fully complete the annual report questionnaire (Attachment 2). Data from CRM Tracker will also be compiled by the State Office and a comparison provided to the Wyoming State Historic Preservation Office in order to review the applicability of the program. Attachment 3 requires a verification of the FY 10 partnership project data and reporting of the FY 11 data. This table is different from past years, so please review it carefully. Each office should review the historic structures listing (Attachment 4) and identify any additions or deletions. Provide an explanation for any deletions suggested. 2 Section VI of Attachment 2 should be completed in cooperation with the Field Office Ranger. Field Office information will be compiled with that provided by the Special-Agent-in-Charge through LawNet. Rangers should also complete a LOOT form (provided as Attachment 4) for each incident. Field Offices are not responsible for the Paleontology sections, IX and X, or for the Museum Collections section, XI, of Attachment 2, unless the office has curated a collection during the year. If artifacts have been curated, please provide a brief description. The State Office will use this information to complete the Museum Collections report by the October due date. Please ensure that the information requested reaches the State Office on or before the due date of August 26, 2011.
