Subject: Assignment of Subject Codes 1758- Congressional Hearings and
1759- Congressional Maps
This Information Bulletin (IB) establishes subject codes 1758- Congressional Hearings and 1759- Congressional Maps for the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Offices. Use these subject codes to identify documents relating to Congressional Hearings and Congressional Maps. Use it also for filing information (e.g. letters, memoranda, forms or reports) pertaining to Congressional Hearings and Congressional Maps in General Correspondence and similar files. As of December 2022, the National Archives and Records Administration will no longer accept paper records. Legislative Affairs will now use subject codes 1758 and 1759 for electronic recordkeeping purposes.
