Subject: Notice of Availability of New My Public Lands Junior Ranger: Minerals in Everyday Life Activity Book
A new publication is available to support Bureau of Land Management (BLM)’s mineral education programs: My Public Lands Junior Ranger: Minerals in Everyday Life activity book for children.
With My Public Lands Junior Ranger: Minerals in Everyday Life activity book, children learn to identify minerals used to make products from toothpaste to cell phones and other household items. They also explore the BLM’s mining permitting and restoration process through a fun game.
Printed editions of the activity book are available. Please coordinate with your office Forms Manager to order free printed copies (up to 100 per order) from the BLM Printed Materials Distribution Services (PMDS) at the National Operations Center, at blm_oc_pmds@blm.gov. The PMDS number for the Junior Ranger is EE2038G.
BLM Junior Ranger activity books serve American families and engage communities in shared conservation stewardship.
