The HAF is a collaborative effort between the Western Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies and the BLM. The HAF was edited San Stiver, Tom Rinkes, Dave Naugle, Paul Makela, Danelle Nance, and Jason Karl. This 2015 version replaces the previous version published in 2010. The HAF has been identified in the recently released proposed land use plans as an assessment and monitoring tool for sage-grouse habitats.
