Field Rotations for Presidential Management Fellows
The Division of Decision Support, Planning and NEPA, along with Sam Gaugush, would like to offer their thanks to the State and Field Offices who responded to IB 2009-081, Rotations for Presidential Management Fellows (PMF). The response from the field was overwhelming with more than 15 offices generously offering their sites as potential rotations for Sam. We were thrilled at the variety and quality of opportunities for professional development provided by the Field and State Offices and faced a difficult decision.
We are pleased to announce that Sam Gaugush will be working in the Grand Junction Field Office (GJFO). He will be helping to complete the Wild and Scenic River Suitability Analysis for the GJFO Resource Management Plan (RMP) revision. He will also assist the GJFO with the preparation plan and scoping for the Dominguez-Escalante National Conservation Area RMP.
Other current PMFs will be looking for rotational opportunities in the future. We will keep you informed of future opportunities as they arise. Offices are also encouraged to hire new PMFs for vacant positions. Again, thanks to all who took the time to submit proposals.
