The Presidential Management Fellowship program is a highly competitive, government-wide professional development program designed to prepare individuals for management careers within the Federal government. Individuals hired through the PMF program are highly skilled recent graduates of a variety of master's and doctoral-level programs. Fellows receive an initial two-year full-time excepted service appointment, after which they are eligible for non-competitive conversion to a permanent Federal government position. (For more information see the PMF program website. The purpose of this Information Bulletin is to inform offices about the opportunity to hire PMFs non-competitively for vacant or opening positions. The following two BLM Washington Office PMFs are currently seeking permanent positions in a Field, District or State Office: (1) Megan Stouffer interested in Planning and Environmental Coordinator positions; and (2) Frank Quamen, interested in Wildlife Biologist or Conservation Biologist positions.Resumes, including dates of availability, are available upon request from the PMFs.
