Subject: Availability of “BLM’s 2006-2007 Volunteer Annual Report”

The Division of Education & Volunteers is pleased to announce the availability of “BLM’s 2006-2007 Volunteer Annual Report,” which presents profiles of outstanding BLM volunteer projects and events, as well as statistical information on State and Center Volunteer Programs for Fiscal_Year 2006. The report underscores the value of cooperative conservation and the important role volunteers play in caring for our public lands, and is a useful tool for conveying these messages to internal and external audiences. Volunteer Coordinators are encouraged to distribute copies to field offices, program managers, volunteers, partner organizations, and others.

The report is currently available online at http://www.blm.gov/volunteer/news/ annreport/index.html and is also attached here as an electronic file. In approximately one month, printed copies of the report will be available free of charge from BLM’s Printed Materials Distribution Services (PMDS) as Item No. EE9-006B; PMDS ordering instructions are online at http://nbcweb.blm.gov/pmds/customerinstruction.htm#office and a PMDS order form is attached here.
