Background: The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and the Department of the Interior currently have several PMFs working in the Washington Office. The PMF receive an initial two-year full-time excepted service appointment, after which they are eligible for conversion to a permanent position as a Federal government employee.
During their fellowship, PMF take on one or more rotational assignments. The BLM fellow is currently seeking rotational opportunities and experiences at the State and Field Office level for a 4-month period. Additional information can be found at www.pmf.gov.
Budget Impacts: Travel and salary for PMFs rotational assignments is funded by the Washington Office.
