WO-420 requests WO Program Leads to submit proposals for programs or partnerships that educate young people about natural and cultural resources and/or employ them in projects related to the management of those resources. Proposals will be evaluated by a team composed of representatives from WO-400, WO-200, and WO-300 based on the following criteria:Project Scope and Objectives: Describe linkages to high priority goals and ways in which youth will be educated, engaged, and/or employed in natural and cultural resource management; describe how BLM will benefit from the proposed project, program, materials, or partnership; and indicate, if applicable, how many Field Offices may be involved.Audience Reach: Include an estimate of how many youth are/will be employed, educated, or otherwise engaged. In addition, identify any target audience -- underserved youth (women, minorities, tribal and other underserved youth).Other BLM & Partnership Involvement: Outline how WO-420 funds will be leveraged through other BLM funds and through the involvement of federal or non-federal partners.Audience Impact: Describe how much time will be spent with youth and the anticipated impact on the youth and the surrounding community.
