Subject: Stewardship Project Review Checklists for FY09 California Stewardship Projects
This Information Bulletin (IB) is in response to the WO-270 request for States to submit Stewardship Project Review Checklists for their potential Stewardship projects. California has two 2009 approved Stewardship projects (Goose Stewardship and Heavey Mountain Stewardship) attached to this IB. It is anticipated that both of these projects will have contracts awarded this FY.
With the addition of the above two projects, California should have a total of eight stewardship projects for this year.
The other six projects include:
1. Interlakes – Agreement currently pending in Oregon (project approved in 2008).
2. Fredonyer Peak Aspen – Modification to add acres/dollars (project approved in 2007).
3. Stones Ranch – Awarded (project approved in 2007).
4. Juniper 108 – In contracting (project approved in 2008).
5. Weaverville Community Forest – Modification (project approved in 2007).
6. North Horse – IDIQ task order issued (project approved in 2007).
If you have any questions regarding this matter, please refer them to Skip Ritter, State Forester, at (916) 978-4672.
