Idaho State Office

The BLM manages nearly 12 million acres of public lands for multiple use in Idaho, representing nearly one-fourth of the state's total land area. Through balanced management, we sustain the health, diversity and productivity of the public lands for the use and enjoyment of present and future generations. In fiscal year 2019, the diverse activities authorized on BLM Idaho-managed lands generated $1.2 billion in economic output across the state, supporting 12,000 jobs. In 2020, Idaho's public lands hosted 6.4 million recreation visits.

Please send general questions or comments pertaining to BLM Idaho to blm_id_infoaccesscenter@blm.gov and we will respond to them as soon as possible.
