Betty's Kitchen Watchable Wildlife Viewing Area and National Recreation Trail

Betty's Kitchen is a wildlife interpretive area along the Lower Colorado River, with a 0.5 mile fully-accessible interpretive trail and fishing pier. Betty's Kitchen is enjoyed by many for wildlife observation, picnicking, and fishing throughout the year. The Betty's Kitchen Protective Association assists BLM with the management of the site.

Draft Recreation Business Plan Fee Proposal

To enable visitors to enjoy quality outdoor recreation experiences for free, the Yuma Field Office has issued a draft recreation business plan fee proposal, which includes the recommendation to remove the standard amenity fee at Betty’s Kitchen Watchable Wildlife Viewing Area. The BLM wants to hear from you about this plan. Visit the Recreation Business Plan webpage or our announcement for more information about how to share your input by October 21.
