Fishermen's Bend Recreation Site Junior Explorer

"Discover What's Around the Bend" is the subtitle for this colorful 24-page activity book. This booklet is aimed at young people ages 5-10, however anyone is welcome to use the booklet to explore Fishermen’s Bend Recreation Site. Parents, Grandparents, and friends are encouraged to help with the activities found in this booklet. Activities include exploring scientific studies, a scavenger hunt, geology, "fun with bugs" (entomology), and the study of trees (dendrology). "Biology Bingo" is a short activity that matches experiences to descriptions of things along the Nature trail.
