Notice of Availability of Environmental Assessment for a Land Use Plan Amendment and Non-Competitive Direct Sale of Public Land in Washakie County, Wyoming

WORLAND, Wyo. – The Bureau of Land Management proposes a 1-acre sale to TAG Western Properties, LLC to allow resolution of inadvertent, unauthorized development of public lands by a previous landowner, currently operated by the proponent as an essential component of the adjoining ranch operations.

The BLM has prepared a Land Use Plan Amendment with an associated Environmental Assessment for the sale. This notice announces the beginning of the 30-day protest period on the EA for the proposed direct sale, the protest period on the LUP amendment and a 60-day Governor’s consistency review. The EA and signed Finding of No Significant Impact are available for review on the BLM's ePlanning site: https://eplanning.blm.gov/eplanning-ui/project/2023383/510.
