Event Description

Join BLM and Friends of the Agua Fria National Monument for night-sky viewing event. Telescopes will be available.

Bring a headlamp or flashlight (with red light setting preferred) and warm layers. Park at the Badger Springs Trailhead parking lot and follow staff directions to the viewing area. A vault toilet is a short distance from the parking area. No water is available at the trailhead.

When: Friday, February 21, 2025, 7:15 pm-10 pm

Where: Badger Springs Trailhead, Agua Fria National Monument, about 12 miles north of Black Canyon City. 

Directions: From Interstate 17, north of Phoenix, Arizona, take exit 256, the Badger Springs exit. Follow the gravel road for approximately one mile east to the trailhead parking area.
