CODY, Wyo. – As replacement of the Rock Creek siphon gets underway October 1, the Bureau of Land Management will maintain public access to the Twin Creek Trail southwest of Cody.

Signage will direct recreationists to a short, temporary reroute at the trailhead. The Lakeview Irrigation District will shut down water to the canal to allow for the construction as well as access across the canal to the trail.

Please stay alert and avoid heavy equipment working in the area.

For more information about Twin Creek Trail access, please contact the BLM Cody Field Office at 307-578-5900. For information about the Rock Creek siphon project, please contact Laura Burckhardt, Wyoming Game and Fish Department, at 307-527-7125.
