Bidding Opens for BLM Commercial Pine Nut Gathering Permits

CEDAR CITY, Utah - The BLM Cedar City Field Office is now accepting sealed contract bids for commercial pine nut gathering permits on nine identified units within the Indian Peaks and Mountain Home ranges in Beaver, Iron, and Millard counties. Bids must be submitted by 2 p.m. on Aug. 2, 2024.

All submissions must be written sealed bids and include a security deposit of $75 per sale area. Bids received without the security deposit will not be considered.

Permits are not required for personal use gathering of pine nuts up to 10 pounds per year.

Bid packets, including the advertisement, bid prospects, bid forms, and maps, are available at the Cedar City Field Office, located at 176 East DL Sargent Drive, Cedar City, Utah 84721.
