Avi Kwa Ame National Monument Advisory Committee Establishment and Call for Nominations

The BLM gives notice that the Secretary of the Interior is establishing the Avi Kwa Ame National Monument Advisory Committee (MAC) and is seeking nominations for individuals to be considered as MAC members.
Comments regarding the establishment of this MAC must be submitted no later than August 14, 2024.
All nominations must be received no later than August 29, 2024.
The BLM manages more than 245 million acres of public land located primarily in 12 western states, including Alaska, on behalf of the American people. The BLM also administers 700 million acres of sub-surface mineral estate throughout the nation.
