Alaska Cobalt Infographic

Cobalt is more than a pretty, blue mineral.  It’s important in medicine and in technology. It’s usually found as a byproduct of mining nickel, silver, copper, and iron and is found in Alaska.  

Cobalt is a critical mineral for the battery industry and in the magnets used for wind turbine generators.
