Trails and Easements for the Richardson and Edgerton Highways Brochure

Are you planning a trip along the Richardson or Edgerton highways? Check out our guide to the 17(b) easements and hiking trails! This brochure provides brief descriptions of trails, allowable uses on easements and highway mileposts.

Section 17(b) of the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act reserved easements across privately owned Native lands to public lands. It is your responsibility to know and follow the allowable uses for each easement. If you wish to park, camp or exit from the easements, you must receive a permit from Ahtna Inc. in Glenallen, Alaska.
