BLM confirms Fish Creek Herd Management Area NEPA adequacy

Battle Mountain, Nev. – Mount Lewis Field Office has issued a Determination of National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Adequacy (DNA) and associated Decision Record (DR) for the Fish Creek Herd Management Area (HMA).

After a 30-day comment period, which concluded December 7, 2024, the DNA was completed to review the potential environmental impacts of the gather. The DNA confirms that the proposed action was adequately analyzed in existing NEPA documents and is in conformance with the land use plan.
