The Wolford Mountain Area is located adjacent to and north of the Town of Kremmling and to the east of Wolford Mountain Reservoir. It offers 120 miles of designated roads and trails for motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs and full-size 4-wheel-drive vehicles. Prominent features include an open OHV play area; Wolford and Little Wolford mountains; Gunsight Pass; and the Kremmling Creataceous Ammonite Locality. The area is closed to motorized use from December 15 to April 15 annually to protect big game in their winter habitat.

Directions
From the center of the Town of Kremmling, head east on US Highway 40. At the east end of town, turn north on County Road 22 (adjacent the BLM Kremmling Field Office). There are several access points into the Wolford Mountain Area from County Road 22: County Road 224 is approximately 1 mile north of US 40, and offers access to the OHV play area; County Road 25 is approximately 6 miles north of US 40.
