ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is announcing that Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument (Monument) will be unavailable for public use, and will be closed on May 3, 2017, and reopen on May 4.  “Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks is a serene and beautiful place that we must preserve for future generations,” said BLM District Manager Danita Burns.  “Closing on days of significance for the Pueblo de Cochiti allows the BLM to plan and work on maintenance issues in and around the Monument.”  The Monument will reopen on May 4 to the public during its regular hours of 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with the entrance gate closing at 6:00 p.m.
