BLM seeks public input on route management

CAÑON CITY, Colo. – Following a comprehensive effort to catalogue existing routes in the Three Peaks area of northwest Fremont County, the Bureau of Land Management’s Royal Gorge Field Office has completed an environmental assessment of those routes. Now, the agency is seeking public input on the assessment, suggestions for alternatives, or other feedback.
“This new inventory of existing routes is an essential part of our mission to manage your public lands,” said Royal Gorge Field Manager, Keith Berger. “With the help of the public, our future planning will now be based on the most accurate and complete information possible.”
