September 21: National Public Lands Day - Cross Bar Management Area

Come explore the Cross Bar and help keep it beautiful. Hikers, mountain bikers, equestrians, hunters, and anyone who enjoys their public lands and wants to help keep these lands beautiful, should join us!
September 21, 2024, we will have access to the Cross Bar Special Recreation Management Area Trail system in Amarillo, Texas. Volunteers will be able to help clean up any trash and will be able to explore the property. The Bureau of Land Management will provide lunch. Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. until the food runs out.
Volunteers will pick up trash along trails and fence lines. Access to the property requires driving through private ranch land. Everyone must meet at the white gate by 8:30 a.m. to caravan onto the property. We will leave the property at 2:00 p.m. the same way we came in.
