Sept. 28: National Public Lands Day with Prineville BLM and partners
Bend, OR
United States
Event Description
Join Backcountry Hunters & Anglers, U.S Forest Service, and Bureau of Land Management in celebrating National Public Lands Day in the beautiful Deschutes National Forest and Prineville BLM!
This day will consist of one final fence modification, bringing the Oregon Stewardship Series to a close for the field season. This is a perfect opportunity to get some last minute scouting done in the area, talk to region biologists, and connect with your fellow hunters before diving into the best part of the year.
The BLM manages more than 245 million acres of public land located primarily in 12 western states, including Alaska, on behalf of the American people. The BLM also administers 700 million acres of sub-surface mineral estate throughout the nation. Our mission is to sustain the health, diversity, and productivity of America’s public lands for the use and enjoyment of present and future generations.
