Call for Nominations to the Western Montana Resource Advisory Council

Public nominations are requested for the Bureau of Land Management’s (BLM) Western Montana Resource Advisory Council (RAC) to fill existing vacancies, as well as for member terms that are scheduled to expire. The RAC provides advice and recommendations to the BLM on land use planning and management of the National System of Public Lands within their geographic areas. Nominations must be received by September 9, 2024.
The BLM manages more than 245 million acres of public land located primarily in 12 western states, including Alaska, on behalf of the American people. The BLM also administers 700 million acres of sub-surface mineral estate throughout the nation. Our mission is to sustain the health, diversity, and productivity of America’s public lands for the use and enjoyment of present and future generations.
