BLM seeks public comment for the proposed Purple Sage Energy Center Project in Nevada

The Bureau of Land Management has prepared a Draft Resource Management Plan Amendment and Draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the proposed Purple Sage Energy Center Project in Clark County, Nevada.

This opens a 90-day comment period which will end on February 13, 2025. During this comment period the Bureau of Land Management will host a combination of virtual and in-person public meetings.


The BLM manages more than 245 million acres of public land located primarily in 12 western states, including Alaska, on behalf of the American people. The BLM also administers 700 million acres of sub-surface mineral estate throughout the nation. Our mission is to sustain the health, diversity, and productivity of America’s public lands for the use and enjoyment of present and future generations.
