The Avi Kwa Ame National Monument Advisory Committee will advise the Bureau of Land Management regarding the Avi Kwa Ame National Monument.
The deadline for submission of nominations is extended. Nominations for membership on the MAC must be received no later than September 30, 2024.
The BLM manages more than 245 million acres of public land located primarily in 12 western states, including Alaska, on behalf of the American people. The BLM also administers 700 million acres of sub-surface mineral estate throughout the nation.
