The Federal Register is the official daily publication for notices, proposed rules and final rules of Federal agencies. The BLM uses the Federal Register to announce and explain our plans to solve problems and accomplish goals, and to give the public an opportunity to comment on the actions we propose. We encourage citizens to make their voices heard on the issues that are important to them.

Notice of Intent to Prepare an Environmental Impact Statement for the Proposed Skyline Mine Little Eccles Lease by Application in Emery County and Flat Canyon Lease Modification in Sanpete County, Utah.

PRICE, Utah – Pursuant to a court settlement agreement, the Bureau of Land Management and U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service (USFS) are seeking public input to help inform an environmental analysis of a potential expansion to Skyline Mine. The modification would include additional coal from public lands in Emery and Sanpete counties.

BLM Utah Resource Advisory Council convenes in March 2024

The BLM Color Country District will host a meeting and field tour of the Utah Resource Advisory Council (RAC) March 20-21, 2024, to dis
