Colorado Mountain Biking Opportunities: Phil's World

The Phil's World trail system sits atop a southwest desert mesa approximately four miles from Cortez, Colorado and consists of classic single track riding intermixed with segments of challenging slickrock. Trail difficulty ranges from beginner to intermediate. The majority of trails within the system are mildly technical with limited extended uphill sections. Riders seeking a playful ride experience will find plenty of mountain bike optimized features throughout the system.

One of the Bureau of Land Management's "Backyard to Backcountry" treasures, information on the Phil's World Trail System was developed between IMBA and the Tres Rios BLM Field Office in Dolores, CO, to provide world-class riding experiences. IMBA's data on the trail includes elevations, ratings, current conditions, photos, and comments.
