The proposed action is to mine and extract gold from placer gravels as described in the Plan of Operations submitted by Geodesy Resources in accordance with the General Mining Law and the requirements of 43 CFR 3809.  The project is located on the west flank of the East Range; eleven miles east of Mill City.
